Dr. Lisa Lacey
Originally from New Brunswick, Dr Lacey obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from
Mount Allison University before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University
of Waterloo. Dr Lacey moved to Yarmouth and joined CM Optical in 2005. She thoroughly
enjoys getting to know her patients and is dedicated to providing all patients with
compassionate and comprehensive eyecare. When she is not at the office, Dr Lacey enjoys
spending time with her husband, two teenage children and Newfoundland dog. Her favourite
outside activities include running, hiking and cycling

Dr. Guy Rohland
Dr. Rohland is an optometrist who graduated from both Dalhousie University and the Pennsylvania College of
Optometry. Dedicated to his profession and community, he has built his career helping people improve and protect their
vision. He is also a devoted husband and proud father of three children. Outside of work, Guy enjoys an active lifestyle
that includes sports and outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, golf and hockey.

Meet Doctor Penney:
After studying Neuroscience at Dalhousie University, Dr. Penney was
accepted early into the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with honors in
2009. She combines strong clinical training with a compassionate, patient-centered
approach to care. Dr. Penney is committed to clinical excellence while
ensuring every patient feels comfortable and well cared for.

Dr. Katie Churchill
Dr. Churchill grew up in Kingston, Ontario, and completed her undergraduate studies in Medical Biophysics at Western
University before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. Drawn by the beauty and
charm of Nova Scotia, she moved to Yarmouth in 2012 to join C.M. Optical and remains deeply grateful for the
community she now calls home. Dr. Churchill is dedicated to providing thorough, high-quality eye care in a welcoming
and compassionate environment. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Zach, and their
daughters, Cece and Eva, keeping up with all the adventures of family life.

Dr. Joanne Deveau
Dr. Deveau was raised in Meteghan, Nova Scotia, and earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Dalhousie
University before completing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. She later practiced in New York
City, returning home at the start of the pandemic to join C.M. Optical.
She takes pride in offering attentive, patient-centered eye care in a friendly and supportive environment. Outside the
clinic, she values quality time with her husband, David, and their son, Marcus, and enjoys travelling to explore and learn
from different cultures.

Dr. Nicole Easton
Though she grew up in Ottawa, Dr. Easton’s roots have always been firmly planted in Nova Scotia. After completing her
undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at Dalhousie University, she headed to the University of Waterloo
to earn her Doctor of Optometry. In 2022, the pull of the East Coast brought her back to Yarmouth along with her high
school sweetheart, Jordan. Dr. Easton is passionate about providing informed, comprehensive eye care with a friendly
touch, ensuring every patient leaves her chair with a clear understanding of their ocular health. Outside the clinic, you’ll
likely find her hanging out with her two cats, lost in a good book, or canoeing through the backcountry of Kejimkujik
National Park.
